Working at Wellington After hours has been an amazing experience. The other staff members are knowledgeable, collegial, and know how to make a fast paced, sometimes stressful work environment a fun place to be. You feel good when you go home after a shift knowing you have helped people at a very vulnerable time in their life, often when it is saying goodbye to a loved family member. The work is very varied and no two shifts are the same, I have learnt so much and had exposure to unique situations. I have always felt very valued by my colleagues and managers, and I would recommend working at the Wellington After hours clinic to anyone.

Who we’re looking for:
Veterinarians: Provide the whole range of emergency services with a large medical and moderate surgical caseload
Veterinary Nurses: Our nurses are very involved in the care and management of our incoming patients, hospital and surgical cases. They have the opportunity for lots of hands-on clinical skill learning.
Administrative Staff: Are our clients’ first point of contact, ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience for every pet and owner as well as providing a wide range of advice and reassurance over the phone.
